I started this study trip thinking I’d be able to give you a recap of each day, as we went.
HA!
There’s a lot here, and it’s going to take me some time to sort my thoughts, gather notes, crop photos, do a bit of research, and report back on each topic. Just hang tight, and it will be worth the wait.
Meanwhile, here’s a preview of some of the things you’ll be reading:
A sheep farm making one-of-a-kind cheese.
How this man confronted all manner of challenges to achieve his dreams and transform the local economy, and what we all can learn from him.
What makes this vinegar so special, and why you should be drinking it. Yes, drinking it.
What lies five stories below this winery tasting room (and more about what’s on the table).
Why this wine thinks it’s a beer, but is definitely wine. I think.
What we found on our food-centric walking tour of Trieste (which happens in a half hour, so I have to leave this lovely coffee shop and get back to the hotel!).
There’s lots more, too.
Meanwhile, THANK YOU for following along. I’m really excited about what we’re learning here, and I can’t wait to share it with you.
