The first day of orientation — there are three — was all that I imagined, and more.
There are 12 of us in the New Food Thinking program (compared to 34 in the World Food Studies program, with which we are orientating). We dozen got to introduce ourselves, and place faces with names we’ve exchanged online.
We also got an overview of our program, and the six modules and dozens of classes within the modules, and where there will be exams, and study trips, and papers due.
We also got our books for the program, in case you want to follow along at home.
I’ve got some work ahead of me, and I’m really excited about it.

So, so cool. I told Em we should come visit the university so she can apply for her Masters in food marketing, lol.
